Medical Imaging Diagnostic Center
The diagnostic laboratory is located at 22 C Iakovou Polyla street (ground floor), in the area of Corfu Tennis Club, in Corfu town.
The laboratory characteristics are the following:
- The provision of medical and diagnostic services at all levels.
- The modern medical equipment of well-known companies (Siemens, Hologic, General Electric, Fujifilm).
- The modern digital management and storage of medical images (APPLE and EVORAD equipment).
- The human approach to the subject which is a key priority of its operation.
Antonis Paschos
Antonis Paschos, son of Spyridon, was born in Corfu on 31.07.1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Pavia in Italy, on 20.09.2001. He fulfilled his obligations as a rural doctor at the Regional Clinic of Gastouri in Corfu, in the years 2003 & 2004.
He received his specialisation in Diagnostic Radiology on 02.2010 from Thriasio General Hospital of Elefsina, with his simultaneous participation in postgraduate training work at the 6th Social Insurance Institute (IKA) of Athens (in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI and Computerized Tomographic Angiography/CTA) and at the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas” (in the Department of Invasive Radiology).
He is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens on Musculoskeletal Ultrasounds, with extensive scientific work, including presentations to Greek and foreign conferences and publications in scientific journals.
From 2010 until now, A. Paschos has worked successfully in the private sector in Athens and Corfu as a Diagnostic Radiologist, and as a Scientific Coordinator in Iatriki Apeikonisi Kerkyras (Department of Vascular Ultrasound/Triplex and Bone Density Measurement) and Magnitiki Tomografia Kerkyras (Department of CT and MRI Scanners).
He is a member of the Medical Association of Athens (from 2004 to 2010) and Corfu (from 2010 until today), elected as a member of the BoD (from 2014 to 2018) and as Vice-President of the Medical Association of Corfu (ISK) until today.
As a member of the Hellenic Breast Imaging Society (HBIS), he successfully participates every year in training courses in the field of Breast Imaging.
